La portada de “Consider This” fue diseñada por el propio guitarrista Prashant Shah (la cual representa la batalla entre el bien y el mal, en busca de un equilibrio emocional, y la elección hacia un extremo, dependerá de cada un@ de nosotr@s) y se convirtió en el primer álbum de estudio de los indúes de Exhumation.
“Consider This” te mantendrá enganchado desde el primer tema hasta el final… lleno de riffs monstruosos y golpes implacables e incesantes, el cual baja un poco (no mucho) con el tema: “Black Plague“, pero, luego, retoma el mismo nivel de intensidad y brutalidad.
El talento del guitarrista Prashant Shah quedó plasmado en cada riff ejecutado, y como ejemplo, los temas: “Blood-Drenched Flags” y “Omega Alpha” que dan una atmósfera y una textura especial, a cada interpretación.
“Consider This” fue porducido por Kuber Sharma, quien se pulió en ofrecer un sonido distinto en los ochos temas del álbum, pero, lo que si se pudo mejorar, es la mezcla vocal. Otro punto a rescatar sobre esta producción, es el aporte del baterista Yash, quien puede cambiar de compases y ritmos de percusión, con suma facilidad. Por ejemplo, la introducción de “Worship Thyself” es lenta, pero, Yash en un dos por tres, se las arregla para estallar en el caos habitual.
En síntesis, “Consider This” de Exhumation, es un lanzamiento muy sólido, de gran calidad y que no debe faltar en cualquier colección respetable de metal, no solo por variedad, sino, por calidad… ¿Considera esto? A menos que usted sea un (a) auto (a) – proclamado (a) No fan del Death Metal, hazte un favor y considerar esto: Brutal Death Metal hecho en la India.
