“Communication Lost“ es el cuarto álbum de estudio de la banda Wolverine, formada el año 1995, en Söderhamn, Suecia, el cual fue grabado de febrero a agosto de 2010, en varios estudios en Suecia (Hansen Studios y Rancho Mastering Eroc).
Stefan Zell (cuya voz es cadente e hipnótica) y Wolverine, crean atmósferas profundamente melodramáticas que envuelve absolutamente todo este disco, con un manto de sutil delicadeza.
“Communication Lost” presenta a cinco músicos maduros, lo cual es reflejado en los once temas de esta producción. “Downfall” es la intro de turno, la cual da paso a: “Into the Great Nothing” (con expresivos aportes de teclado de Per Henriksson) un tema de un feelin’ muy particular, el cual incluye un estribillo multi-coral.
Les dejamos la intriga sobre: “Poison Ivy” para que la degusten por sí mismos.
Y sobre este mismo sendero musical, continúa este álbum… temas cortos y directos, pero, profundamente impactantes, y para muestra: ”Your Favourite War” y “Embrace“. Estos son la clase de temas que hacen que Wolverine sean apasionantes.
A continuación: “Pulse”, una canción con estrofas atípicas, pero, con unos estribillos aromáticos, repletos de un juego vocal y una solvencia melódica: muy buena…
“What Remains” cuenta con cuerdas y violines, los cuales aportan agudeza y carisma…
