Visión Rock

SATYRICON es una banda de Black Metal procedente de Oslo, Noruega, la cual surgió en 1990 con una propuesta de música medieval y atmosférica.

La formación original de SATYRICON (cuyo nombre original fue ECZEMA) fue:

• Satyr – vocalista,
• Lemarchand – guitarrista,
• Exhurtum – baterista y
• Wargod – bajista.

Con el paso de los años, SATYRICON se conviertió en una banda de culto (pionera de la segunda ola del Black Metal noruego) y motivo por el cual,  muchos de sus seguidor@s aprendieron el idioma noruego.

Cabe recordar, que el Black Metal es un género musical surgido a mediados de los años 80′s. La lírica abarcan temas sobre: el odio, el  anticristianismo, la misantropía, el ocultismo, la mitología escandinava, etc…  El desarrollo de la nueva corriente musical  en la década de los 90’s, se popularizó en la región escandinava, principalmente en Noruega, donde ocurrieron los trágicos y fatales acontecimientos: las bandas Black Metal fueron en vueltas en asesinatos, suicidios, profanaciones de tumbas y quemas de iglesias, pero, en pleno siglo XXI se mantienen vigentes y con mucho auge, y seguidor@s en todo el mundo… Y SATYRICON no se escapa a esta estigmatización.
